Fall in Kansas

Here are the past three months in a nutshell. Are you ready? I know you're so excited to see all of these pictures of my life. This is probably on your list of favorite things to do.

Downtown Kansas City:
Rodin's "The Thinker" in front of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art:
My favorite paintings in the museum. Mr. Monet, you've done it again.
Cory and I went to the Royals game in early September. Despite their losing season, they won the game and we had a great time. Cory is now a fan (hat and all), so when they start winning he won't look like a bandwagon fan. But the chances of them becoming a good team are low, since they've never been good. At least we have the Chiefs!
I started working at Pottery Barn. Since we got to Kansas after the school year started, teaching this year wouldn't work out. Luckily, Pottery Barn gives a pretty good discount and is keeping me busy for now. Busy spending my paycheck there.
Cory's family made the long drive from Virginia for Thanksgiving. We had a blast! It was so fun to be all together and show them around. Did I mention how amazing my mother in law is? She helped so so much with the Thanksgiving meal. Couldn't have done it without her.
Kansas City LDS temple. What a beaut.
And there you have it.
